Wondering how I work?

When you contact me, here’s what happens:

1. Chat and propose

We organise a time to chat about your project by Skype or Zoom or telephone. If we’re a good fit, I send you a copy brief so you can give me enough information to write you a detailed proposal and quote.

2. Confirm and commit

We discuss and finalise the scope and timing of your project based on this proposal. You secure your place in my schedule with a 50% deposit.

3. Research and write for tone

You give me any and all background material we’ve agreed on. I take a forensic look at your competitors’ websites and social media. I research your industry and pinpoint your customers’ problems. I find creative, credible ways to convince people of your great solutions.

I write the first page so you can approve the tone (does it sound like you only better?)

4. Write and review the first draft

You give me the go ahead, I write the first draft. If you love it we go straight to sign off.

If we need to tweak the copy, your quote covers two rounds of revisions. It’s fast and easy to do revisions via Skype or Zoom. However, you can also mark up the draft using the track changes tool in MS Word.

5. Sign off and celebrate

Once you’ve signed off on the final draft, I’ll invoice you for the balance of your bill. My payment terms are 14 days. If you’re happy to give me a testimonial, I’ll be delighted.
